ZingTrain Event Support Staff (Finance)
Part-time, hourly position to support ZingTrain events; irregular schedule;
usually 2-3 shifts |10-15 hours/week starting ASAP; early mornings and some evenings. $15.00/hour to start; gain share (bonus) potential and $.50/hour raise upon completion of orientation training, which typically takes three months.
Performance Expectations
Brings a great customer experience to customers and co-workers by providing logistical support for ZingTrain training events held at ZingTrain; prepares the building for guests arrival, facilitates food service during the event, cleanes and closes up the building after an event is over. Acts as a ZingTrain host when guests are in the building, actively seeking opportunities to engage with guests and go the Extra Mile.
Specific Job Tasks
Essential Job Functions:

Non-essential Job Functions:
VacuumingRunning AV systems (music, projector) and training others on how to do soDuplication of training materials on an as-needed basisAnswers phone and provides other office operations support on an as needed basisResponsible (together with the rest of the ZingTrain team) for meeting ZingTrains Annual Plan goals
Skills/Experience Needed
Restaurant/catering experience - preferredExperience and comfort with a variety of software applications (GoogleDocs and Hubspot) - preferredAbility to regularly lift up to 20 pounds - requiredAbility to stand, lift and bend for duration of a 6-8 hour shift - requiredExceptional customer service skills - requiredTrack record of detailed follow-through - requiredAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing - requiredWillingness to ask for help and/or clarification of expectations - requiredOperate copy machine and tablet - requiredAble to print (or learn to print) nametags and labels using the Zingermans hand-lettering font (Muno Bold) - required

Who is ZingTrain?
ZingTrain is a training business that shares Zingermans approach to business with other organizations around the country and around the world. We are a team of 12, and we offer 2-day seminars and a variety of private training events in our training facility on Plaza Drive, as well as virtual workshops.
Where are we?
ZingTrain is located on the south side of Ann Arbor at 3728 Plaza Drive. While there is a bus stop within walking distance, ZingTrain is not located on an AATA bus route.
