Location: Louisville, KY We give you a world of potential - Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Tax Reporting Analyst Performs the timely and efficient completion of daily and annual tax reporting balancing, the annual production and verification of Forms 1099 and 1042-S for clients' shareholders, and the generation of IRS and state electronic filings. Ensures that data is provided to recipients and regulatory agencies in compliance with IRS and state specifications and information reporting regulations.
Performs the daily balancing of income payment reports and update to the financial activity screens to ensure accurate tax reporting at year end.
Reconciles annual tax reporting reports to financial YTD activity screens to ensure that all reportable tax information has been captured and will be reported to shareholders and regulatory agencies appropriately.
Interacts with various operations and support groups, and print vendors to coordinate and track the generation of tax forms mailings.
Reviews and maintains an understanding of the Internal Revenue Service specifications.
Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
