Material Handler Days Mon-Friday 8-hr Shifts (Transportation)

Position Description: Unload, transport, store, pick and kit product while insuring all associated transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.    

Responsibilities:

• Read schedules and Bill of Materials while following LTI SWI's to complete task.
• Keep equipment clean and in proper operating condition
• Operate forklift safely
• Operate according to all LTI Safety standards.
• Other as directed by area leader

Education and Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to utilize MRP system
• Ability to acquire CDLs
• Ability to follow written Standard Work Instructions.
• Ability to safely use a variety of material handling and packaging devices
• Ability to read a blueprint.
   
  Physical Requirements

• Attention and care required to prevent injury
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and do mechanical work under less than ideal conditions at times
• Mobility to get on and off a forklift multiple times per day while also manually arranging and picking material on and off of pallets.
