Skid Builder (Manufacturing)
High Steel Service Center has a 200,000-square-foot facility with 150,000 tons of capacity. A full-line metal processor and distributor, High Steel Service Center offers carbon steel, aluminum flat rolled, and stainless steel products.
We are currently seeking several order pullers to join our 3rd shift operations. Ideal candidates will have availability to work Monday - Friday from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
Skid Builders will work in a safe and efficient manner to set up and operate various machinery and hand tools to produce skids for the various operating lines in the shop. Operate forklifts and cranes. Receive instructions from supervisor and/or machine operators if acting as a helper in that operation. Work from skid schedule daily to produce skids needed. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. No previous skid building experience required! We will train applicants who demonstrate the aptitude to do our type of work.
