OR CORE TECHNICIAN (Construction)
The Operating Room(OR) Core Technician:
- is responsible for facilitating supply and instrument coordination between the operating room, supply chain and CPD.
- assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical suites including but not limited to instruments, equipment, supplies, positioning/transfer, and patient transport.
- participates in a variety of activities involving the receipt, storage, distribution of supplies and equipment required to maintain OR operations.
- may have access to areas where medications are stored and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties.
Experience Requirements
- One year experience as a nursing assistant, supply chain clerk or sterile processing tech preferred
- Experience in an alternative clinical or healthcare environment could be considered in lieu of the above
Education Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
Skill Requirements
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Work independently with little supervision
