Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Director of Sales - Special Projects & Wheel Sales to join our team. This individual is responsible for developing strategy and leading strategic planning for all product groups across EVRAZ|NA.
Manage the sales and marketing activities for Class 1 Railroad Accounts
Direct Sales to Class I RR accounts; primarily BNSF, KCS & KCSM, Ferromex (others tbd)
Handling & sales to special railway projects within Canada / US / Mexico market
Management of Railway Wheel Sales to various accounts
Previous industry knowledge/experience, and existing relationships with Class I's would be needed
Conduct sales analysis and forecast to determine business growth potential
Develop and collaborate with Senior Management on strategic marketing plans
Develop, maintain and improve business relationships with customers
Monitor A/Ron a proactive basis collaborating with Credit Managers, AR Managers and Director of Business Services
Requirements
Must be able to travel up to 35%+ pending the location
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics is required. An MBA is strongly preferred
Must be familiar with Manufacturing Cost Statements
Commercial sales experience is required
Experience with P&Ls including, developing and managing budgets and forecasts
Experience with Railroads required
