Sanitation Supervisor/3rd Shift (Manufacturing)
Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor

Summary of the Position:
The sanitation supervisor supervises sanitation personnel and assists the sanitation manager in other duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises sanitation workers on any shift. (30%)
- Manages daily workload, trains staff, and handles performance reviews and goal setting. (15%)
- Oversees all sanitation functions. (15%)
- Monitors staffing to reduce costs and increase efficiencies. (7.5%)
- Responsible for training all new sanitation workers in proper cleaning SSOP's, chemical use and safety procedures. (7.5%)
- Schedules major cleanup projects with production supervisors. (5%)
- Maintains chemical usage and cleaning logs. (5%)
- Responsible for inventory and storing of sanitation supplies. (5%)
- Manages detailed cleaning tasks as per production schedule and master sanitation schedules. (5%)
- Manages the preparation and execution of sanitation audits.
- Understands and complies with FSMA requirements. (Continually)
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
- Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to (5%)
- Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
- Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in sanitation in a food environment required
- Supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and of food handling preferred
- Computer literate
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- English required, Spanish a plus.
