What will you be responsible for?
The Country Compliance Manager is responsible for promoting integrity and compliance in all aspects of operations, projects and interactions with commercial partners, community members and government officials in Canada and US.

Here is what we would need to see from you!
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Must have working understanding of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Canadian Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act, the U.K. Bribery Act, and other compliance rules and regulations.
Minimum 7 years of business experience or its equivalent taking care of operational issues in a multinational context.
A compliance, auditing or legal background and experience is helpful.
Mining, construction, utilities or other heavy validated experience is helpful.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Project management experience strongly preferred
Must not be adverse to conflict and must be able to say no and escalate issues promptly
Strong compliance systems knowledge and experience – Third Party Due Diligence platforms, Helpline and Case Management tools, COI disclosure platforms, etc
Strong skills in MS Office
Foreign language proficiency (e.g. French) desirable
Where you will be located!
The position is located at Corporate - Denver Colorado but may require travel up to 40% to sites in Canada, other sites in US and internationally if needed.
The salary range offered for this role is $127,360.00 to 167,160.00. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
