Major Responsibilities:
Verify all E-stops are operational and all guards in place prior to start up. Verify belts are operational and emergency door secured.
Compare item number on trays (trays brought to line by forklift operator) to spec sheet (provided by QA) for accuracy
Manually break trays apart and load trays onto conveyor.
Verify glue machine reading correct temperature and glue machine has glue inside the pod. Fill pod as necessary.
Complete the Casepacker Check Sheet throughout the shift, the 15 Minute Glass Inspection Sheet every 15 minutes and document all downtime on line Downtime Sheet as necessary. Submit all Sheets to Lead or Supervisor at the end of the shift.
Communicate with Casepacker stepping in at shift change with any issues experienced throughout the shift (as applicable). Communicate with others on the line.
Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the day.
Work safe and report all unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe acts to supervisor immediately.
Responsible to ensure food safety/quality polices are followed, to report all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
Follow all safety rules and policies and GMP rules.
Responsible to make sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely.
All other duties as required.
Requirements:
Maintain excellent attendance record

Reading/Comprehension abilities
Possess basic math skills
Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to work in manufacturing environment
Ability to bend/squat/push/pull
Ability to substantially move wrists, hands, and/or fingers for purpose of machine operations
Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. – if an accommodation is necessary please notify Human Resources in advance of interview
