Application Integration & Development Manager (Architecture)
Title: Manager, Application Integration & Development
Duties: Manage the overall work of the non-ecommerce application and integration team. Lead and guide the work of technical staff as well as managing the overall application and integration tools and technologies. Work with the business to drive the strategy for building application and integration to various other systems and responsible to support and build an efficient process. Provide guidance on new application and integration capabilities and plan the roadmap for these. Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets for team projects are met. Work to build standardized processes for documentation, coding and maintenance for relevant systems. Position reports to Boston Heights, Ohio but may work remotely anywhere in the continental U.S.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, database management, or related technical discipline (or bachelor's equivalent based on combination of education and experience as determined by a credentials evaluator) plus 84 months of IT management experience for Database, 84 months with MS SQL database systems, 84 months experience in the retail industry, 60 months of experience with integrating MS SQL data-bases with multiple systems including ERP and EDI, and 36 months of experience with business processes and providing solutions for complicated business problems. Also requires: good understanding on integration architecture and how systems connect to each other and share information; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints; ability to interface with executives and stakeholders on technologies in relevant area; ability to facilitate productive meetings and drive outcomes; demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with minimal direction; ability to work collaboratively with project teams from diverse backgrounds in different geographic locations; highly organized and able to work independently and efficiently; excellent verbal and written communications skills; detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving ability; demonstrated experience assembling, organizing, and analyzing information, extracting insights, and communicating findings; and ability to use and adapt to changing technology trends. 5-10% domestic travel.
