Engineering-Structural Project Engineer (SF-MQL) (Architecture)
Duties
Provide structural engineering services related to the analysis and design of projects for buildings and other structures. Responsibilities include designing and/or retrofitting buildings and other structures, and engaging in structural analysis and calculations, structural design, and modeling and detailing both residential and commercial buildings, as well as other structures such as bridges, stadiums, port structures, and medical facilities. Additional duties include: track status and progress of projects; interface with clients and staff regarding structural engineering and related issues; collaborate with other engineers and BIM/REVIT/CADD specialists to produce models and drawings; monitor structural engineering content and quality control to ensure conformity with seismic specifications, local codes and functional requirements; coordinate the work of BIM/REVIT/CADD operators and drafters, and assist the Project Manager in tracking performance relative to staffing guidelines.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related, plus 3 years of experience in a civil or structural engineering position.
PE License Required. (Does not have to be CA license)
Special Requirements:
Must have 2 years of professional experience or coursework from a Civil or Structural Engineering Master's program with:
