Forecast Specialist (Finance)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of the Market Demand Sales Review as mandatory process in Industrial region AM between Demand Planning, RBUs and Head of Sales Areas / Sub-Region based on sector cadence
  • Review of current KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, Availability, Delivery Reliability, Delivery Performance
  • Review of current Availability and Series Program Portfolio trends
  • Challenge current market development based on firm business, validated forecast, OP adjustment and opportunities using the Market Demand Allocation Tool
  • Prepare overviews of mid- and long-term sales initiatives as it relates to finished material planning
  • Implement the results out of market demand sales review meeting for Order Program and Rough Capacity Network Planning
  • Perform a rolling demand planning/validation for OP portfolio, Definition, Implementation and Control of countermeasures in case of deviations
  • Adjust demand planning in case of relocations and phase-in / phase-outs in alignment with regional demand processing
  • Continuous improvement of implemented market MRp parameters and forecast algorithms in alignment with Demand Management Industrial to improve regional forecast accuracy
  • Strategic enhancements in customer loyalty by communicating & implementing customer specific supply concepts as it relates to long term market planning
  • Presentation at customer's site or support of Sales presentation at customer site and continuous follow-ups to ensure sustainability
  • Calculation and alignment of yearly inventory budgets and targets for F-regional
  • Monitoring and control of inventory KPIs; definition of counter measures in case of deviations Preparation and Participation in capacity review meetings for supply initiated by Global Master Planning / SCM & Operations
  • Evaluation of potential countermeasures in bottleneck situations together with regional demand processing
  • Implementation of projects in the context of continuous improvement process and quality management

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics, Business Administration (focus area of Supply Chain Management) or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience as a forecast and/or demand planning analyst.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in forecasting algorithms, forecasting and MRP processes
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of SAP R/3 SD, MM and PP Module, SAP APO, Add*One advantageous OR related forecast planning tool(s)
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of MS Access, preferably including VBA
  • Basic knowledge in SQL Management Studio preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
