Director Inventory and Obsolescence (Finance)



Director of Inventory and Obsolescence

As a Director of Inventory and Obsolescence here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Integrated Avionics organization.

As the Director, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, identifying and addressing obsolescence issues, and ensuring that our products are always production ready for our customers. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain, offering management, sales, and manufacturing teams to minimize inventory levels and find solutions for obsolete components.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Integrated Avionics, and you will work out of our Deer Valley location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization by developing and implementing strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the operational excellence strategy for the organization
  • Identify and prioritize areas for operational improvement and efficiency
  • Guide cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Main process holder for all Integrate Avionics obsolescence MOS
  • Focal for Deer Valley Commercial inventory reduction MOS
