Principal Project Manager - ENT (Finance)

A Day in the Life
The ENT Business Unit is looking for a Principal Project Manager to support the project and process management activities within the project management office. The Principal Project Manager will lead a list of initiatives to improve and assist project managers. The position requires the ability to drive strategic activities while also managing tactical activities and communicating effectively with a large group of stakeholders.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Plans performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
• Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
• Organizes leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
• Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Collects data to identify the root cause of problems.
• Measures performance against process requirements.
• Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
• Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
• Communicates team progress.
• Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7+ years of supporting business process improvement, Program/Project Management, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience
Nice to Have
• Advanced Degree in engineering or scientific discipline or an MBA
• Program Management Qualification: PMP Certification
• Medical device product development experience
• Strong track record of leading complex projects requiring strong influence management skills and willingness and ability to institute change
• Experience with Data structures, SQL, VBA, Python, and advanced analytics methodologies
• Experience with PowerBI and Shrarepoint Integration
• Experience aggregating and presenting insights to senior leaders for decision making
• Exceptional project management skills; knowledge of process and project planning best practices.
• Business acumen; ability to think from an overall "best for the business" perspective and understanding of proforma and business finance/metrics
• Able to adapt communication style to varied audiences and stakeholder groups.
