Primary Role

SAP Functional Lead - EAM/Work Management is responsible for the requirements analysis and detailed design of SAP business processes, for configuration and testing of SAP EAM and work management applications, and for related deployment activities.

  • Should play a significant role in the design process, implementation, and ongoing enhancements for the overall SAP EAM Module and integrated applications.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on SAPs best practices for implementing SAP EAM business processes. Lead workshops in gathering business requirements, influence adoption of standard SAP processes, identify and handle gaps while minimizing development effort.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyzes and documents requirements and design solutions for the business process scenarios
  • Realizes the technology solution in order to fulfill business requirements, including design frameworks, documentation and proof of concept needs while adhering to documentation, configuration, security, development, and testing standards and guidelines.
  • Participate and contribute to Business Workshops and help designing the solutions per the industry standards.
  • Experience with non SAP work management solution.
  • Prepare Functional Specification and Interface Design documents
  • Verify project deliverables for completeness and quality. Work with client business stakeholders to review and approve these deliverables
  • Understanding of SAP middleware functions including BDOC architecture, replication, message queues, and request processing
  • Strong Business knowledge in the SAP IS-Utilities, ISU-CCS business processes in Business/Technical master data (BP, Contract Partner, Contracts, Connection Objects, premise, Installation, PODs),

Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to plan and coordinate the work of employees.
  • General knowledge of MS Office products, MS Word and Excel, and be able to learn the use of new software with training assistance
  • Ability to plan and present safety training to employees.
  • Employee may be required to work shift work and maintain on-call assignments. There will be some weekend, holiday and overtime work as needed.
  • Extensive knowledge of the objectives, equipment, and operations of water distribution and groundwater supply systems, and wastewater collection systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of methods and materials of water/wastewater system construction and maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of the layout, location and equipment characteristics of water and wastewater systems.
  • Knowledge of GIS mapping system.
  • Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations for areas of responsibility.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Analyzes existing custom developments, objects, and modifications, and evaluate the impact of changes on them.
  • Good understanding of OData Services.
  • Work with users in determining business requirements and troubleshooting issues
  • Ensures consistent, timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders. Keep track of customer satisfaction. Provides input and assistance to other IT projects related to ERP if required
  • 7+ years' experience in SAP EAM implementing SAP ISU EAM, Work Management solution for Utilities.
  • Strong functional understanding of the integration between SAP PM, Device Management, MM/IM, FI, and HR modules.
  • 5+ years or more SAP Plant Maintenance implementation experience including at least two full-lifecycle SAP projects.
  • 5+ years of designing and developing complex Work Management solutions using SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module
  • Good understanding of integrating customer solutions with external non-SAP solutions.
