Summary/Objective: Rogers Corporation is seeking an Intern to develop, plan for, and conduct lab experiments and pilot line trials. Essential Functions:
Developing, planning for, and conducting lab experiments and pilot line trials. Support of production line trials may be necessary.
Learning and performing characterization testing, analyzing and interpreting data, summarizing and communicating results./li>
Conducting literature searches and reviews.
Documenting and presenting on development project.

At least 2 years of coursework toward a BS level degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
Excellent organizational skills; note taking and communication skills; ability to work independently; attention to detail; good time management.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products (ie. Word, Excel).
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Entering grad school for Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
Laboratory and research experience.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and Minitab software.
Completed Organic Chemistry courses.
Interest in polymer science and / or materials science and pursuit of an advanced degree.
