Business Development Manager - Utilities and Municipalities (Finance)
The Business Development Manager is responsible for advocating and working with internal departments to ensure that customer needs are understood and satisfied. This role assists with making sales, handling customer complaints, collecting and analyzing data to improve the overall customer experience. Build relationships with customers to ensure customer expectations are met.Collaborate with internal departments and provide information so that customer needs and expectations are understood and achieved.Track and monitor customer owned equipment throughout the entire business transaction; incoming, in process, and in completion.Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services along with specific customer criteria.Track order status for reman sale orders.Communicate to internal department and customer regarding quality control issues.Update repair profile quarterly and ensure accuracy in hand off to order entry.Communicate with internal partners: operations, sales support, logistics, and outsides sales.Advocate for the customer as well as establish true root cause of customer issues where possible.Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.Ensure regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
