Job Title: Senior Director, Global Marketing Operations - HOKA

Reports to: VP Global Marketing, HOKA

Location: West Coast preferred, (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara or Portland preferred). - Remote-Hybrid.

The Role

HOKA, a leading athletic footwear and apparel brand known for innovation and performance, is seeking

a Senior Director of Global Marketing Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing global marketing strategies to drive brand growth and elevate HOKA's presence in markets worldwide. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in global marketing operations, strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead high-performing, cross-functional teams and work closely with senior leadership to optimize marketing efforts and deliver impactful, measurable results while operationalizing complex strategies across multiple markets.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Marketing Strategy Development & Execution

  • In partnership with the VP Marketing, lead the development and execution of HOKA's global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand vision.
  • Partner with brand marketing leaders to drive integrated marketing campaigns from concept to launch, delivering measurable results across key regions.
  • Collaborate with the global leadership team to refine the marketing strategy and vision for the brand.
  • Use data insights to continuously optimize global marketing initiatives.

2. Marketing Operations & Efficiency

  • Oversee global marketing operations, optimizing processes and systems for scalability and efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful execution of campaigns across regions.
  • Streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve communication within the marketing team.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work with integrated marketing and regional marketing teams to coordinate marketing efforts that align to critical KPIs and budget targets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and innovation.

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish KPIs and metrics for marketing initiatives, tracking performance to assess ROI.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on brand and campaign performance, market trends, and business outcomes.
  • Leverage data to drive improvements and identify opportunities for growth.

5. Brand Stewardship & Advocacy

  • Partner with Integrated Marketing and Creative leadership to drive brand consistency across all global marketing channels, including messaging, tone, and visual identity.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to keep HOKA's marketing strategies fresh and relevant.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and develop a global marketing operations team, including expertise in strategic project management, marketing operations and campaign execution.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster professional growth and ensure high performance.
  • Ensure the team is adequately resourced with the right skills, tools, and support to execute initiatives effectively.

We'd love to hear from people with

  • 10+ years in global marketing, with a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving global initiatives.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, managing high-performing teams and overseeing complex global marketing operations.
  • Experience in consumer goods, footwear, or sportswear industries is preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in global marketing operations, process optimization, and budget management.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, e-commerce, and omnichannel strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passionate about performance-driven brands, innovation, and active lifestyles.

$240,000 - $250,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
