SW Architect II (Finance)



YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation.
  • In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in the above-listed fields and 1 year of experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Full term of experience must include the following: experience in software programming using C++, GIT, AWS, C#, Java, and knowledge in SQL and PostgreSQL and .NET framework; Knowledge of integration technologies such as RESTful APIs; Experience within house and on-site customized coding and troubleshooting with deep knowledge of computer language and system architecture; Knowledge in using Queuing services such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ.
  • Approximately 60% domestic/international travel required.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.

Software Architect II for Intelligrated Services, LLC (Mason, OH)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively participate in project requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing for the assigned project.
  • Ensures 100% compliance to phase gate reviews and all deliverables are submitted to the customer on time.
  • Participate in monthly project reviews with Project managers / Program managers.
  • Implement software projects for an integrated system or sub-system (WCS (Warehouse Control System), TT/CB (Tilt-Tray/Cross-Belt), and system conveyor) and provide input to and contributes to the planning, reporting and management of the project in addition to technical implementation.
  • Demonstrate and recognize project success from multiple levels of financial, technical and timeline management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle single project with little supervision and must be able to handle medium risk projects.
  • Serve as owner of the software content of a project or program of projects and responsible for maintaining program consistency between projects, documentation, and support.
  • Responsible for the development, documentation, and maintenance of machine control interface standards across multiple platforms.
  • Performs root cause analysis on issues identified during project life cycle, update and disseminates lessons learned on a regular basis within and across the project teams.
  • Provide support and consulting for Concepting & Estimating, Software Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Installation, Product Development, CSS, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Manage program requirements and associated documentation and maintains all technical program communications with customers and drives product and project execution improvements and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
