About the Position: The incumbent will represent the agency, its Board, and agency personnel in legal proceedings and will be responsible for a wide array of legal issues to include employment law, constitutional law and civil rights, EMTALA, mental health law, department investigations, legislation, policies, ethics, and litigation in all state and federal courts along with other tribunals.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level IV: Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and member in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar with a minimum of six years' experience in practicing law and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
Level III: Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and member in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar with a minimum of six years' experience in practicing law.
Level II: Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and member in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar; and four years' experience.
