The Manager of Accounting is responsible for the management of the accounting operations providing information, primarily financial, about all company activities to assist management, its stakeholders and other users in making educated financial decisions about the company's future. This position manages most aspects of accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax/workers compensation compliance, and cash receipts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, The Manager of Accounting is responsible for development and implementation of internal accounting policies and procedures, assists with budgeting, oversees development and implementation of financial systems, and may assume responsibility for the financial function in the absence of the CFO or Controller.
