Position Summary

As our Lead HVAC Installer, you'll be the go-to expert for all things HVAC. In addition to performing hands-on work, you'll train and mentor a team of Installers and Apprentices, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead complete HVAC system installs: demolition, layout, install, and commissioning.

  • Handle all residential HVAC equipment and components, including gas lines and ductwork.

  • Document commissioning metrics (subcooling, superheat, airflow, etc.).

  • Conduct residential surveys and scope out new install opportunities.

  • Ensure all installs meet building code and safety regulations.

  • Manage tools, materials, and job site logistics.

  • Communicate with homeowners about system options, warranties, and project timelines.

  • Respond to on-demand service calls and basic troubleshooting.

  • Actively mentor and coach your install crew.

  • Represent “The Baker Way” in every interaction and install.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience.

  • EPA Certification (NATE or equivalent certifications a strong plus).

  • Strong working knowledge of residential building codes and best practices.

  • Leadership mindset with a history of mentoring/training others.

  • Positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $35–$40, depending on experience.

  • Lucrative commission opportunities for upsells and performance.

  • Company vehicle and tools provided.

  • Full benefits package (medical, dental, 401k, etc.).

  • Paid time off and holiday pay.

  • Growth opportunities in a well-established and respected company.
