Network Services Architect (Finance)
A Network Architect is responsible for leading and designing SVB's cloud, DC and hybrid network services and is passionate about building highly resilient, scalable, and secure architectures. You will be working within a collaborative cross-functional team, designing, architecting, building, maintaining, and supporting environments running in a hybrid cloud model, connecting AWS, Google, and Azure clouds to SVB's on-prem datacenters, campus/branch locations, SVB customers and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an early adoption into the cloud. You will be focused on defining best practices, developing new processes, building automation, and self-service enabling other teams. The scope of the role requires broad and in-depth knowledge of multiple networks and compute technologies including VCP's, transit gateways, networking, SDW5AN, VPN, containers, load balancing, security, and automation. This is one of the key roles for the successful delivery of the enterprise cloud as a service and designing secure connections to SVB's business partners. Members of this team will share on-call rotation duties to cover escalations and emergency fixes.
