Material Handler Intermediate - Permian (Finance)
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
- Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment.
- Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed
- Prepare crates and other items to be shipped
- Efficiently and independently process shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system with minimal errors
- Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.
- Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area
- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures
- Read, write and speak English
Knowledge:
- General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, transferring, and inventory control
- General knowledge of gas compression inventory parts preferred
Minimum Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license and good driving record
- Forklift operator certification
Minimum Experience:
- Typically at least 2 years related warehousing and inventory experience
- Experience with inventory management systems preferred, preferably with Oracle
Leadership: May serve as a resource to others with less experience

- Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role
- Constantly required to display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to sit while driving material handling equipment, and to stand and walk with good balance
- Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds
- Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat
- Occasionally required to climb, stairs and slanted ladders and carry up to 40 pounds with one hand
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
