Director of Implementations - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY (Transportation)
The Director, Business Solutions is primarily responsible for developing and managing processes, systems, and personnel to support new business implementations; operational process improvement initiatives; and technology implementations. The person will design and implement transportation, technology, and other business solutions aimed at optimizing the organization. The role requires an exceptional leader and organizer, as well as expertise in transportation and supply chain logistics, process/solution design, and business systems implementation. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various leaders within the organization, reporting directly to the SVP of Implementation Services.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and implement multi-faceted transportation and technology solutions for MODE's customers, agents, and company operations.
• Manage new business implementation processes for onboarding new customers and agents.
• Understand and drive innovation within MODE's transportation and business solutions.
• Define and implement an operational improvement strategy and methodology, along with key performance metrics. Serve as a change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing business process improvements
• Work cross functionally to diagnose strategic business challenges, effectively using data and analytics to make recommendations on solutions.
• Align with MODE I/T and vendors to coordinate effective delivery and utilization of technology products.
• Understand and effectively communicate MODE's capabilities, processes, and systems functionality with customers, prospects, and other stakeholders.
• Lead process integration efforts with acquisition companies, customers, vendors partners, and new technologies.
• Conduct regular project reviews with leaders, providing status updates and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead and develop a team of Implementation and Operational Improvement Managers.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• (required). Process Improvement and Project Management certifications are a plus.
• 10+ years of Business Solutions Leadership experience (required)
• 10+ years of Transportation experience (required).
• Formal process improvement training and experience. Expert knowledge of process improvement tools.
• Ability to methodically develop, document, assess, design, implement and improve business processes. Analytics background is a plus.
• Experience with developing business strategies, standardizing processes, and implementing performance metrics.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems.
• Knowledge of systems implementation processes, with proficiency in requirements development.
• Experience leading multifunctional teams (including customers and vendors) on large, complex projects. Ability to leverage the competencies of project team and stakeholders to enhance project results.
• Proficient in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects. Strong organization and time management skills.
