Fleet Manager - Gateway (Finance)

Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Manager to support one of the most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States - the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).

We are working in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of the MPA Delivery Partner team, selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program - one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation - and is designed to strengthen mobility, enhance resiliency, and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.

The project encompasses the construction of a new, two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River, along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200,000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.

Role Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of fleet vehicles.
• Ensure awareness of and adherence to safety policies and regulations relating to project vehicles and incident reporting.
• Scheduling/Tracking of vehicle usage to maximize efficient utilization of available resources.
• Conflict resolution - managing scenarios where resources are in high demand and there may be conflict and delivering effecting solutions to resolve where necessary.
• Timely and adequate procurement, budget compliance, and deployment of the following: vehicles, accessories/supplies, and maintenance.
• Establish key metrics and develop reports for vehicle utilization and costs.
• Monitor, track and develop reports for vehicle/user incidents.
• Creating and publishing documents and processes for all fleet activity to support vehicle and driver management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in fleet management or transportation/logistics

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, DOT regulations, and transportation laws.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $145,000- $180,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
