Senior Group Sales Manager (Finance)
The Senior Group Sales Manager is responsible for representing the company to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This person will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned market. Listen to customer needs, analyze this information and create tailored proposals. Negotiate and close sales while meeting/exceeding sales targets. Earn business through tailored proposals, quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner. Work with management throughout the hotel and the Company. Develop strategy for and initiates potential business account interest, solicits and negotiates contracts for hotel business for a specific assigned market(s). Develop sales plan and strategy in order to meet or exceed room night and other revenue goals. Manages and negotiates account details and contracts so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. The Senior Group Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works with the sales and hotel team to promote Sonesta, grow the business, and execute Sonesta A+ service standards.
