Strategic Sourcing Spec. I (Finance)



As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to deliver complementary products to UOP's main product offerings, drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives.

You will work out of our Tulsa, OK location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide effective support to the Business Teams for both Resale products sourced from 3 rd party suppliers, and Direct raw materials from UOP plants, ensuring smooth operations from procurement to production. Frequent interface with Customer Service on Demand, Delivery and Goods Receipts.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain

WE VALUE

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel
  • Experience in supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management principles
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar procurement systems
  • A Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience in project procurement with background in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
