Digital Specialist (Finance)

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Digital Specialist for our Atlanta, GA, office to assist Engineers, Scientists, and Project Managers with tasks associated with transportation infrastructure project work.

This position will support multiple clients and project teams. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in information management and geographic information systems. Candidates must have experience with the ESRI suite of tools and technologies. Experience with maintenance/construction inspections and performing field work is also a plus.

This role will sit within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

Role accountabilities:

As a Digital Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming how project teams work with GIS data by leveraging innovative approaches and technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • GIS Data Management: Assisting project teams with the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of desktop GIS data, supporting field data collection efforts, and contributing to GIS application development and data delivery processes.
  • Workflow Optimization: Reimagining workflows by developing and implementing best practices for project information management. This includes creating detailed guides and documentation to support various workflows and applications.
  • Training and Support: Facilitating internal and external client training sessions on data workflows, GIS mobile applications, and web-based GIS tools to enhance user adoption and proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving digital innovation in GIS and data management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in a STEM-related field.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • GIS Expertise: Proficient in technical GIS skills, particularly with the ESRI Suite of Products.
  • Office 365 Proficiency: Experience with the Office 365 suite of tools.
  • Independent Work: Capability to work independently and develop solutions using relevant technologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team with individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $49,390-$79,023. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location. Apply
