Position Summary

The F5 Digital Organization is leading enterprise-wide transformation by building agile, scalable platforms that power business operations and partner engagement. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Partner/Channel to define strategy, roadmap, and execution for Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) and related partner ecosystem capabilities. This highly visible role will shape how partners engage with F5, drive partner tiering models, deal registration, incentive programs, and joint selling workflows, and deliver an optimized partner experience through a secure and scalable platform.

You will work closely with Channel Sales, Partner Programs, Operations, Digital Engineering, Security, and Marketing teams to define requirements, integrate PRM with broader Salesforce and GTM systems, and ensure data-driven partner enablement at scale. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce PRM expertise with strong product management leadership, enabling partner success while aligning with F5's corporate growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and lifecycle for Salesforce PRM, Experience Cloud, and connected partner ecosystem technologies, ensuring cohesive design across partner onboarding, enablement, deal registration, incentives, and support.

  • Define and operationalize partner tiering models, including automated scoring frameworks based on certifications, revenue contribution, and customer success metrics.

  • Drive roadmap development for partner-facing capabilities, such as:

  • Self-service onboarding and enablement

  • Automated deal registration and opportunity collaboration

  • Incentive and rebate program management

  • Co-marketing and lead distribution tools

  • Partner support case management and escalations

  • Collaborate with Salesforce engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Certinia, Pendo, Gainsight, and other GTM systems.

  • Lead partner data governance and security, ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, MFA enforcement) and protecting sensitive channel information.

  • Define and track KPIs for partner engagement, time-to-onboard, registered deal velocity, tier movement, and partner satisfaction; provide regular executive-level reporting.

  • Champion automation and process optimization to streamline partner operations, reduce manual overhead, and improve overall partner experience.

  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert on partner lifecycle processes, advocating for scalable, future-ready platform architecture.

  • Translate complex partner program needs into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories, ensuring agile execution and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on partner/channel ecosystem platforms in a global enterprise or SaaS environment.

  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce PRM, Experience Cloud, and Sales Cloud, with proven success designing partner onboarding, tiering, and deal registration workflows.

  • Strong understanding of partner business models (resell, co-sell, MSP, GSI, distribution) and their technical enablement needs.

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale PRM transformations, aligning multiple stakeholders across Channel Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Compliance.

  • Ability to define data-driven tiering and incentive models, integrating with financial, enablement, and support systems.

  • Skilled in Agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and leading cross-functional development teams.

  • Strong executive communication skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and driving decision-making across functions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating PRM with partner incentive platforms, LMS tools, co-marketing solutions, and support case management systems.

  • Familiarity with third-party PRM enhancements (e.g., Impartner, Allbound, Seismic, Qualtrics, Coveo for AI-powered partner search and knowledge).

  • Prior success implementing global partner programs with automated tiering, scorecards, and performance dashboards.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and scaling partner-facing systems in a high-growth, multi-cloud environment.
