Pharmacist Trainer - Grand Prairie, TX (Healthcare)

As a PharmacistTrainer,you will be responsible for conducting, developing, and facilitating training materials for new and current hires to meet and exceed all aspects of SpecialtyRx. The position will be part of Training Department and reporting to the Head of Training in the Texas location.

NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Pharmacist Trainer located in the surrounding areas of Grand Prairie, TX.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and competency assessments.Stay current with LTC pharmacy trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.Educate staff on federal and state regulations specific to LTC facilities (e.g., CMS, DEA, state boards).Design and deliver training outline, via zoom and/or in person, focused on LTC pharmacy practices.Train pharmacists on the use of LTC pharmacy software systems (e.g., FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, mediprocity, PCC, etc).Support onboarding of new pharmacists with LTC-specific protocols and workflows.Assist with new policy and process roll out to educate staffCollaborate with management to ensure training aligns with expectations and performance reviews.Administer records of all training, in-services required by Company policies and local, state, federal laws, rules and regulationsPerform other related duties and assignments as required and assigned by the Regional Director of Pharmacy South Central

Qualifications
Registered with Texas Board of Pharmacy / Licensed PharmacistLong Term Care Pharmacy experience requiredFrameworks / ECM / DocutrackrequiredMust be enthusiastic and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of peopleProficient in MS Office a plusAbility to be mobile in performing job dutiesApproximately 10% travelrequired

Shifts
Monday Friday, 9am 5pmMust be flexible in working later shift or weekends to accommodate any mandatory training for new hires
