Business Analytics Advisor - Adoption Issue Management Lead - Evernorth - Remote (Finance)

This role is a member of the lead team of the Adoption Center organization within Delivery Support & Insights. This position will be key leader on the team in designing activities that help to iterate and scale the optimal business process to achieve expected business outcomes as new capabilities are delivered and adopted by the business.

The focus of this role is to drive awareness and influence quick resolution of defects & issues as capabilities are being delivered to the business; ultimately increasing the speed of adoption by enabling quicker decision making.

Activities will include regular meetings with teams within the Adoption Center as well as technology and operations teams to ensure issues are being identified, tracked, and acted upon by technology as quickly as possible. Often being the one to challenge both tech and business to think through all sides of an issue to ensure the proposed solution and prioritization of fixes across multiple issues is considered to keep the value of the overall project on target against expected timeline/goals.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with data analysis, process improvement, test & learn methods, designing and maintaining findings, implementing new automation, assisting in the development and enhancement of processes, and analyzing results to improve better outcomes.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Key lead team member of the Adoption Center and owner of all Issue Management for aligned project
  • Ensuring issues are being raised by active listening, asking lots of questions, and challenging matrix partners to think outside the box
  • Assists with ensuring both tech and business needs are considered to drive prioritization of fixes and speed of adoption by the business to keep the project on track
  • Maintains project issues/risk logs, implement mitigation strategies, and confirm all issues are resolved appropriately
  • Leads regular meetings to review progress of issue resolution with both tech and business teams present
  • Comfortable working in an environment with priorities often changing daily - ability to prioritize work accordingly
  • Works independently and collaboratively with Cigna and Cigna's Global Service Partners to identify additional opportunities for innovation within the process
  • Strong ability to tell the story of the data for the business to help influence process enhancements
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all developed and supported processes and tools
  • Ability to quickly deliver in an ambiguous environment - able to handle multiple iterations to accomplish the final product
  • Able to organize and execute project deliverables with high quality, leadership, and drive strategic execution
  • Comfortable leaning in to learn complex data relationships and making connections to other parts of the organization that may be impacted by the data or outcomes as you learn more over the course of the project
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with functional areas inside and outside of the team
  • Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment among the team

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working in a role deriving insights from large data sets using critical thinking and innovative analysis approaches, all in a business environment but able to speak the language of technology to bridge gaps
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience working in a role focused on improvement of business processes
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills from a business perspective
  • Demonstrates excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within diverse groups
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities that differ in complexity and scope
  • Self-directed, works independently with minimal oversight
  • Functions as a team player and peer leader
  • Proficient critical thinking skills with the ability to identify process gaps and determine root causes with consistency in results
  • Ability to build, manage and develop successful teams indirectly with influence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Commercial Network, Contract and Demographic provider data elements highly preferred
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to discuss data analysis results and root cause defects through storytelling to influence process improvements and/or to raise issues identified
  • Experience working in CPF or HCPM highly desired

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,000 - 160,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
