Provide management oversight and technical guidance to the Product Quality team
Ensure CHI's compliance with the Production Certificate Quality Manual and additional requirements set forth by the administrator
Monitor and maintain the appropriate processes that have oversight of the AS9100 certificate
Manage all manufacturing inspection activities including internal/external audits and source inspections
Coordination/facilitation of audits by regulatory agencies and other companies
Establish training tracks for direct reports to develop their technical talents
Drives performance gains through team collaboration, process improvement, and franchising suppliers towards CHI's quality requirements
Perform performance evaluations, recommends hires and promotions, anticipates and plans for skills and human resource requirements and develops staff to meet those needs, applies organization policies, and provides leadership toward resolving employee problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
10+ years documented technical aerospace experience within manufacturing or quality
2+ years' experience in a Lead or Supervisor function with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to train and coach employees
2+ years' experience within manufacturing or quality in a Part 21 manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 21
Extensive knowledge of the SAE AS9100/AS 9110 standard, as well as other industry quality systems
Ability to use specialized inspection and hand tooling as required to perform job functions assigned
Ability to interpret technical data such as mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.
Ability to address and resolve particularly difficult or contentious situations generally requiring cross-organizational alignment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able present ideas, concepts and proposals with a wide range of audiences at all levels both internal and external to the company
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Possess a valid Passport and able to travel and work in foreign countries as required
