Research Audiologist/Laboratory Coordinator (Finance)



The position reports directly to Dr. Erol Ozmeral, the director of the lab, and may have co-supervision from other principal investigators at the Global Center for Hearing and Speech Research at USF. The ideal candidate has experience in comprehensive audiological diagnostics and demonstrated knowledge and expertise in hearing device technology and management in adult populations. They will provide direct services to participants while engaging in the conduct of clinical and basic research specifically in the areas of hearing device and related technology, auditory perception, aural rehabilitation, and electrophysiological evaluation. In addition, they will be expected to help coordinate general lab functions including subject recruitment and scheduling, marketing, IRB compliance, and data management.Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Audiology doctorate (AuD)

At least one year of research experience in a hearing-related field

Preferred Skills: Experience coding in MATLAB or Python

Experience using REDCap

Experience presenting research to large audiences

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.Working at USF

  • Assist in scheduling, recruitment, and lab management
