Corporate Recruiter / Employee Brand Marketer (Human Resources)



Seneca Companies, a leader in the fuel systems industry, is seeking an experienced Corporate Recruiter/Employee Brand Marketer. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Corporate Recruiter/Employee Brand Marketer will develop recruitment strategies to fulfil the required current and future staffing levels for Seneca Companies. This role will have heavy involvement in building the employee brand and representing Seneca to prospective employees, current employees and industry contacts. Key areas of responsibility include consulting with hiring managers on current and future staffing requirements, defining and marketing the Seneca employee brand internally and externally, developing and executing sourcing strategies and staffing pipelines to secure top talent, recruiting candidates, consulting on and managing interview strategies for various departments and presenting competitive offers.

Primary Duties:

  • Partner with hiring managers to get a clear view of their strategic and financial objectives and hiring needs
  • Devise and carry out a targeted recruitment/sourcing strategy using Seneca's employment branding resources -  ability to tell the “Seneca Story”
  • Research and develop recruiting leads through networking, cold-calling and other search methods
  • Map role criteria define position description and document specifications
  • Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of electronic channels, employee programs, and publications
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Conduct interviews and follow-up references.
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
  • Follow up with the hiring manager and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process
  • Be a key part of developming and implementing the Seneca employee brand and marketing techniques to best present Seneca and job opportunities to prospective employees via website, social media, job boards, other advertising, industry events, etc. This role will be the base of the Seneca employee brand.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of candidate selection methods
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of the area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
  • Internal client focus along with relationship building skills
  • Business acumen and market insight
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and drive towards set deadlines
  • Ability to set and track KPI's around recruiting function as well as marketing duties
