Business Director (Finance)
Creates the annual event calendar for VBFH
Creates and executes all in-house events
Negotiates contracts and maintains relationships with external vendors
Provides post event data on each event (participation,economic impact, financials, etc.)
Develops, prioritizes, and implements strategic project plans, including customer promotion programs, special events, family fun day activities, etc.
Compiles estimated cost models, creates and maintains budgets, tracks budget statistics, and prepares management reports
Makes event space reservations and/or blocks for special events, and coordinates necessary materials, setup, staffing, etc.
Communicates to internal teams and external clients
Manages on-site staffing and registration
Rentals
Drives facility rentals with open inventory
Coordinates transitions and set up of fields/courts
Compiles rental reports
Marketing
Works with ESM Marketing Director to establish annual marketing calendar for each department and program
Manages the execution of all marketing initiatives through the VBFH program directors
Works with Department Directors to create marketing initiatives
Establishes and maintains a consistent image and brand throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
Assists in the creation of marketing collateral for each business unit (i.e.- Camp brochure template, Spring league flier template, etc.)
Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization
Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
Plans and oversees advertising and promotional activities including print, online, electronic media
Serves as liaison with outside agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
Keeps all general program information up-to-date
Manages internal marketing (Facility TVs, fliers, tables, etc.)
Sponsorship
Collaborates with ESM VP of Business Development and VBFH General Manager to sell all facility-wide sponsorships
Establishes sponsorship decks
Manages and identifies inventory
Executes and follows through on all sponsorship contracts
