What you will do
Are you a skilled IT Supporter? Do you see yourself as part of a global organization, where you will fix issues and support end-users? Join us as our new IT Support Specialist at our site in Wichita, KS.
In this role, you will become part of our NA Field IT. As a driven and proactive IT Specialist, you will be required to handle a variety of assignments whilst mainly supporting the High Production with 1500 users.
How you will do it
Provide level 1.5 and level 2 end-user support, as well as manage our ticket queue in collaboration with our Virtual TechHut support group and other team members in North America
Create and resolve incident and service requests, report errors and troubleshoot with next level IT teams or third-party partners
Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, Servers, UPS, VoIP, printers and scanners) to ensure efficient workstation performance
Solve problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required
Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of computer problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed
Involve in enterprise and business line project demands – planned or unplanned
Implement IT policies, procedures, and system controls
Handle End-of-Lease computers through their lifecycle
Assist vendors and be responsible for projects such as replacing computers, switches, or printers.
What we look for
Required
1-3 years min. experience as IT Support Specialist or in a similar role
Motivated by providing excellent user support
Structured manner enabling you to prioritize and complete your tasks
Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.
Preferred
Previous experience with ITSM (ticketing system), preferably ServiceNow
Excellent technical knowledge of PCs software and hardware. Preferably Engineering\MS Windows environment
Working overview of current protocols, Microsoft operating systems and standards
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, and Windows ACL's
Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required
