Credit Administration, VP II (Finance)
Summary/Objective
The Loan Administration group manages or contributes to the management of credit approvals, loan underwriting, credit quality, portfolio reviews, loan strategy, credit policy, controls and risk assessment, and other credit related activities. This VP III position is a newly created one to support the foregoing activities. The Vice President will assist with: initial review of certain loan approvals; the maintenance and preparation of underwriting job aids; the creation and maintenance of portfolio review procedures and processes; analysis of loan portfolio trends and credit quality metrics; preparation of portfolio reports for internal and external reporting purposes; analysis of new and other loan booking activity; and support for controls and other risk assessment measures.

Decisions
Utilizes analytical skills, underwriting skills, decision making and independent judgement in initial review of loan approvals for SCO and CRM.
Utilizes analytical skills, operational skills and knowledge, and risk assessment skills in evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of changes in portfolio review procedures.
Utilizes analytical skills, underwriting skills, and risk assessment skills in evaluation, recommendation and creation of guidance, job aids and strategy materials. Supports Head of Loan Administration and CRMs in continued evaluation and recommendation of strategy improvements in partnership with business units.
Utilizes analytical skills, industry, knowledge, and loan portfolio knowledge to analyze and report on the loan performance trends and metrics.
Utilizes credit policy knowledge and portfolio management skills in identification and implementation of process improvements and control programs, including creation and oversight of Low Experience Credit Exposure (LECE) controls.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
5 or more years of related experience.

Physical Demands
The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier/fax machine, scanner and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Employee must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: reviewing and analyzing information; transcribing; and/or viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to make quick decisions as to when to escalate or directly address a situation, as well as handle the stress of such situations. The work environment is indoors with a majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
