Specialist - Business Development (Finance)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
  • Drive pipeline of projects that will lead to sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior executives, sponsors, business owners and field operations.
  • Document and analyze information and processes to solve critical business tasks.
  • Lead the strategic project activities in the region Americas.
  • Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals.
  • Support and participate in industry trade shows; manage relationships with the "right" trade associations.
  • Develop, communicate and coordinate the execution of the industry's ongoing strategic plan (Price, Place, Product, Promotion)
  • Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and products.
  • Searches for, analyzes and compiles sources for market information to identify or address customer demand fluctuation.
  • Creates future market scenarios and proposes options of responds to cover strategic positioning and to address long-term profitability.
  • Presents findings to relevant stakeholders and eventually initiates business development activities, in cooperation with stakeholders in the business.
  • Manages or executes agreed action plan and coordinates all activities to ensure business development measures or projects become a success.

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional industry experience.
  • Project management experience, including risk and schedule management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with an entrepreneurial, customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
